A total of fourteen Gusties were spotted at the Oct 10-12, 2007 Minnesota GIS Consortium meeting in Rochester, MN. Among the speakers were former instructor Ryan Kirk and graduates Leif Olmanson of the University of Minnesota’s Remote Sensing Lab, Chris Pouliot of the MN DNR, and David Fawcett of the MPCA. Poster presenters included two current students–Nick Jost and Kurt Wayne. Others in attendance included Kitty Hurley (grad school at St. Mary’s), Kyle Chester (grad school at U of Minnesota), Jesse Pearson (MN DOT), Jodi Mohrsching (Scott County), Joel Koepp (City of Roseville), Neil McCreedy (Historical Information Gatherers, Inc.), Ann Fossum (Eastview Cartographic), and of course there was Dr. Mark Bjelland of Gustavus.
