Gustavus geography graduates Kyle Klatt ’95 and Kelli (Swanson) Matzek ’03 returned to their alma mater to talk to students about careers in urban planning. Both Kyle and Kelli have Master’s degrees in urban planning from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey Institute. They talked about the political challenges, joys and opportunities in planning. 
They both got their start in urban planning with internships that started while they were students at Gustavus. They want to help out the next generation of students and hope to have an internship position available during the next year.
