There are many different occupations that require knowledge of and skills in geography.     Hi! Lovely to “meet” the photographer and geographer from the photo! Beside Vermeer’s famous painting of The Geographer, a google image search for “geographer” didn’t yield many interesting results. I felt fortunate when I finally came upon your photo: the geographer as intrepid explorer.
