Dr. Jennings has been a geologist at the Department of Natural Resources for three years. Prior to that she was a geologist for 22 years at the Minnesota Geological Survey; housed in the School of Earth Sciences at the University of Minnesota. She has mapped the surficial geology of half the State of Minnesota. She has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels; her field-oriented glacial geology class at the U of M has been offered for the last 20 years. She has applied her understanding of glacial geology and landscape evolution to help protect surface waters, explore for groundwater and aggregate resources, and understand landslide hazards.
