Gustavus Student Interns at National Geographic Society

Senior geography major Anne Bortscheller was awarded a prestigious internship position with the National Geographic Society. She is spending the fall semester working on educational projects at the Society’s headquarters in Washington, D.C. Her work has focused on the Xpeditions website which offers a rich array of curriculum resources for geography teachers.

Gustavus Geographers Attend GIS Conference

A total of fourteen Gusties were spotted at the Oct 10-12, 2007 Minnesota GIS Consortium meeting in Rochester, MN.
