Gusties Assemble at AP Human Geography Reading Posted on June 29th, 2009 by

Four Gusties worked together at the AP Human Geography reading held at the University of Nebraska. Their task was to grade the free response questions on 59,000 AP Geography exams. Geography is a required high school subject in Texas and the State of Florida pays for all AP exams so many of the exams were from Texas and Florida students. From left to right, the four Gusties were Marc Crawford who coaches linebackers for Gustavus and teaches AP Human Geography at Mankato East, Amanda Peterson Kolpin ’03 who is a Ph.D. Candidate in geography at the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Ann Fletchall ’00 who just accepted a geography teaching position at Western Carolina University,  and Gustavus geography professor Mark Bjelland. gusties-at-ap-geography
