Amanda (Peterson) Kolpin Serves as Expert for Swedish Television Program

Amanda (Peterson) Kolpin, a 2003 geography graduate, was interviewed as an expert on Vilhelm Moberg for a popular Swedish television series that focuses on literature. The interview was filmed in Lindstrom, Minnesota, a major center for Swedish settlement in the U.S., at the Karl Oskar House. Amanda is a Ph.D. student in the geography department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is writing a dissertation on the historical geography of Swedish immigration into the United States.
