Congratulations to Dr. Joaquín Villanueva, Assistant Professor of Geography and of Peace, Justice, and Conflict Studies, on being awarded the 2017 Mark H. Anderson Faculty Diversity Award! Dr. Villanueva is engaged in efforts to strengthen community at Gustavus through his teaching, research, and service. “My ultimate aim,” he says, “is to contribute to the creation of a just community that provides the opportunity for underrepresented groups to succeed and excel.”
