Casey Decker (’18), a double Geography and Geology major, represented Gustavus at the Minnesota Private College Council’s Scholars at the Capitol on February 21, 2018. He was one of 48 student researchers chosen from across the state. His study, Quantifying Glacier Volume Change using UAV-Derived Imagery and Structure from Motion Photogrammetry, was advised by Prof. Jeff La Frenierre and builds on field work Casey, Jeff, and others conducted in Ecuador.
