  • Gusties Grading AP Human Geography Exams

    Gustavus geography graduates Amanda (Peterson) Kolpin ’03 and Ann Fletchall ’00 met up in Lincoln, Nebraska where they both were grading Advanced Placement Human Geography exams from students from around the United States.  Amanda is a Ph.D. candidate in geography at U-Wisconsin and Ann is a Ph.D. candidate in geography at Arizona State.

  • Gustavus Student Interns at National Geographic Society

    Senior geography major Anne Bortscheller was awarded a prestigious internship position with the National Geographic Society. She is spending the fall semester working on educational projects at the Society’s headquarters in Washington, D.C. Her work has focused on the Xpeditions website which offers a rich array of curriculum resources for geography teachers.
